Note: this is a launch-draft policy. We recommend a lawyer review before the site scales or joins additional ad/affiliate networks.
What we collect
Analytics. We use privacy-respecting website analytics to understand which articles readers find useful — things like pages visited, time on page, and referrer. This data is aggregated; we don't build profiles of individual readers.
Affiliate clicks. When you click a product link, the retailer (e.g., Amazon) sets its own cookies to track the referral and calculate our commission. That's governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours — we never see who bought what, only aggregate click and commission counts.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address solely to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, and we'll delete your address on request.
Contact. If you email us, we keep the email to respond — nothing more.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with data brokers. We don't run third-party advertising trackers on review pages. We don't collect payment information — purchases happen on the retailer's site, not ours.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: analytics (aggregated, no cross-site tracking) and affiliate referral cookies set by retailers when you click product links. No cookie walls, no dark patterns — and a consent banner where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Email thekimialabs@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the change and the date at the top of this page.
